New Phone Chain: The phone
chain is used to alert friends and family of the congregation about
cancellations or prayer requests. You may download the PDF
(you will need a password to open this document, if you forgot the
password, please contact webmaster@madleychristlutheran.org). If you
are not on the new phone chain, please contact Pastor Ryan or a
member on council.
Easter Lilies: Now is the time to order your Easter Lilies! The cost is $6.50 each. There is a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. The deadline to sign-up is March 21. Please put your payment in a pew envelope, mark on it "Easter Lilies," and put it in the offering plate or give to Bertha Emerick. If you write a check, please make it out to Christ Lutheran Church.
Devotional Guides: Copies of the Lenten Devotional Booklet "Where In The World Is God?" are available in the narthex.
Worship Assistance Schedules:

leadership page, or download and print the schedule: PDF. If you would like to be a worship assistant, please inform a member of the worship and music committee or speak to Pastor Ryan.
Lenten Services will continue to take place on Wednesday nights at 7pm, but they will alternate locations between Christ Lutheran and First UCC in Hyndman. Please see the calendar.
Sign-Up: Please sign-up in the narthex for: worship leadership, monthly church cleaning, weekly flower sponsorship, events, and more! ELCA Prayer Ventures: Each month the ELCA complies daily prayer petitions to guide our prayers for the life and mission of the church. They are available here from the ELCA website.
God's Work. Our Hands.Food Bank Donation: The donations collected at the Shrove Tuesday Feast/Mardi Gras party amount to $78. This money will be given to the Hyndman Ministerium Food Bank.
In the community: A gift of $250 was given to Stephen & Michelle Leydig who lost their home in a fire.
Daffodil Sunday of Hope is March 21. To help support the
American Cancer Society please sign-up
to sponsor daffodils. The deadline to sign-up is Sunday, February 21.
One bunch (of
10 daffodils) is $10. Please put your donation in an envelope, mark it as
"Daffodils," and put in the offering plate or give to Bertha Emerick. If you write a check, please make it out to Christ Lutheran Church.

Box Tops for Education: ...Are still being collected. Save the cutouts from the products you buy to help support our local schools. There is a box in the narthex to place your box tops, as well as list of participating products and brands.
Serve Our Congregation: You are an important part of the body of Christ on earth and your gifts make us whole. There are sign-up sheets for worship leadership on the bulletin board in the narthex. If you are interested in serving but would like to learn more about how you can serve God's kingdom on earth, contact Pastor Ryan Viands or a member of the congregational council.
Help Clean God's House: A clean and tidy space is welcomed by all who gather at this fine place of worship. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the narthex for monthly church cleaning. For more information, please contact a member of the Property Committee.
Please Recycle: Most everything we throw away can be recycled. To help the effort of preserving God’s creation, there are now recycling bins in the church. There is a bin for paper next to the copier (for copier/computer paper, envelopes & junk mail, magazines/catalogs, newspapers, etc.). There is another bin located in the fellowship hall for all plastics, glass, and metal (including plastic bottles & containers, tin & aluminum cans, glass jars & bottles, etc.)... all you have to do is put it in one of the bins instead of a trash can. It’s that simple!
Hyndman Ministries Food Pantry: Every third Friday of the month from 9 to 11 AM as shown on the calendar. Please consider volunteering for this worthy cause! Here is a listing of their special monthly collections throughout the year. Bring ANY donations to the church and we will see that they are taken to the food bank.
