Wao! What a wonderful Christian family. You are so cute! I love you all. [we sent the picture on this page to Hannah] Thank you very much for your love and support all this time. May the God Lord always protect you and keep you under his umbrella. My teacher taught me a memory verse from Psalm 1 verse 3, may this memory verse be your portion in life. People will come from far and near to eat your fruits and their will be comfort under you shade. Yes I do have fun during this Easter. The truth is I wept when they were beating Jesus [referring to the Passion of the Christ movie] but after His resurrection I suddenly became happy. Soldier were bad they even spit on Jesus. I love Jesus because He is very powerful. I love to join you one day. I have so many things to share with you. Can you please send me your names? ...Is that all your Sunday School children? I love your pictures! I really do. Please pray for my parent business.

Hannah learned how to forgive friends who offended her, and to pray for her enemies, like how Jesus did when he was on the cross. He prayed for those who were beating him, including the armed robber. This lesson was taught after watching the Passion of the Christ film at Compassion. According to her, she went to church on Easter Sunday. She ate fufu and light soup after church.

I am always grateful for all that you have been doing for me and my family. Jesus will increase you in everything you do. Do you all go to the same church? We have a visitor from Colorado which makes me happy and hope that I will one day see you. And that day will be the memorable day in my life. I will surely pray for Jesus to open doors for you. Bible says Jesus loves little children like me. So He will do for my sake. I really had fun when we sang, danced, and played with them. School vaccated, Compassion is still going on. Family is OK. Please pray for my country and my education. I love you all. May the Lord bless you with wisdom and discernment for all your decisions.

October 15, 2008I am doing well by the grace of the Almighty God - as well as my family. I am always happy you’ve found where I live. Nungua is near the coast. People love fishing. Our school also resume about a month now. I am enjoying it a lot. The weather is is very hot sometimes, windy, and sometimes warm. I will help you pray. May you please also help me pray for my country. We are in our election year. We are going to elect a new president for our country. Political parties were hurting each other. People were burning party offices etc. We need God to intervene; we need peace. A proverb in our language says, “If two elephants are fighting, only the grass suffered.” I am enjoying Compassion so much. Next time or in my next letter, I will sing our Rohi Compassion song for you. Stay bless and may God increase you.
August 13, 2008It has been a long time [since] I heard from you - how are you doing? I am writing to tell you how I am going to spend my holidays. Our school vacated on [the] 31st July. We will resume on 2nd September. I am attending holiday classes. Compassion classes on Saturdays and Sunday school on Sundays. May 2, 2008It is a joy to write to you again. [I] am very fine [in] health - my parents, brothers, sisters, and friends are all fine too. Is everything well with you and the family? How is the weather over there? here in Ghana it is the raining season and the rains are causing floods in some areas of my community. i am writing to tell you how I spent the Easter Holiday. My school break for the holiday so I traveled to my home town for the Easter Celebrations. My home town is Add in the Togo Region of Ghana. My parents and [I] attended church Sunday school. I [learned] the love of God made Jesus to die for us. i want to see you one day. Please come visit me. One Good Friday, I went to church and on Holy Saturday I went to a party and on Easter Sunday I went to the children service and they taught me the resurrection of Jesus and how He came to die for our sins and he share His blood on the cross and share his flesh on the cross for us and the memory verse I was taught at Compassion is Exodus 15:2 -The Lord is my strength and song, and he has become my salvation.
February 2, 2008As I am always happy in writing you, it’s a joy to be asked to write to you to thank you especially for the gift you send to me. I am doing well and I know God is watching over you too. Thank you very much for the money which amounted [to] GHC 1374 (? illegible) in our Ghanaian currency [Cedi] you sent to me. I was very happy when I was told about it and immediately I prayed God bless you always. The money was used to buy me a very nice dress and shoes. I wore them to church on the day of Christmas and in fact, everybody admired me which made me happier that day. I can never forget that day in my life and I will continue to thank you and pray for you. God richly bless you. Bye.

Eventually your letter has brought a great joy in my spirit. I thank God that you have chosen my picture among others and I believe that God has a wonderful plan for us while we abide by His words. Over here we do not have chores to do at home, but rather we normally attend the Sunday school every Sunday and attend the Compassion Centre every Saturday where in fact, we learn more about Jesus Christ. I always pray for you, that the Lord should increase your ability to sustain the group and may you be abiding by the love of God and every plan that you have for me, come through. With Christ’s love!
August 10, 2007Hello! Grace, peace, and mercy abides with you all. I thank God for your lives, [and Him] whom we all serve and for Him touching your heart to choosing me as your sponsored child. This is my first time to send a letter to someone and to tell him about my summer holidays. My school vacates on the 26th of August 2007 and probably resume on the 1st of September. Holidays over here are full of happiness because I have a little moment to have some rest. But then then every Saturday I visit the Robi [?] Child Development Centre, the Compassion Centre, where we all go and learn about the Lord Jesus Christ and I do the same on Sunday together with my friends. School re-opens on the 1st of September 2007. Stay bless.
